Following an options study on this tight site, Offset Architects were appointed to prepare a full planning application to extend this detached Victorian Villa.
Prior to this Offset worked closely with the client to develop a brief and fully understand the family requirements. After an initial concept design we developed a costing document to allow the client to make an educated judgement on how to proceed.
The project includes a full refurbishment of the property and grounds along with remodelling of the interior spaces to provide a modern family orientated layout. The external aspects of the extension have been designed to blend in with the traditional Victorian street scene while the secluded rear elements of the extension take on a more contemporary design to extend from the new internal kitchen and family living space.
