The Barn
Project Location Shipbourne, KentContract Value / Size Luxury 5-bed barn conversion with a contract value of £850,000
Whilst at Barrett Haskins Designs, Rob Ranson was appointed by the client to undertake an Interior Design and Project Management Service we worked closely with the Architect, Contractors and Client to create a truly exceptionally finished property.
The original oak framed barn, situated in a beautifully isolated location over looking a valley towards Tonbridge was extended either side to create a ‘U’ shaped building which creates a light and open feel. This concept of space and light was continued through to the interior with the client keen to encourage a crisp contemporary approach to the fixtures and fittings, which contrasts with the traditional form and materials of the external.
Architect Rob Ranson oversaw the project in association with the design team and with a passion shown by the client to create an amazing property which has recently been submitted for the Kent Design Awards.
