Role Description

As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for the technical development and coordination of a range of residential and commercial projects. Working closely with Directors and Associates you will contribute to the preparation of building regulation and working drawings and construction detailing to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of high quality building regulation drawings, working drawings and construction detailing
  • Manage projects to ensure delivered on time, on budget and high quality
  • Carry out site surveys
  • Liaise with clients and external consultants
  • Liaise with Building Control, suppliers and manufacturers & warranty provider
  • Maintain clear communication with senior leadership regarding project progress
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external project meetings
  • Carry out Building Regulations Principal Designer Role
  • Prepare specifications & schedules
  • Prepare CDM documentation

Person Profile

  • Demonstrable experience delivering technical packages on UK projects, at least 5 years
  • Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies
  • Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Construction Drawings for various project sizes
  • Significant experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with design teams and clients
  • Must be pro-active and possess good time management skills
  • Possession of a relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or related field is desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in residential or commercial projects, is advantageous
  • Must be able to drive and access our studio by own vehicle as not accessible by public transport
  • Must have the right to work in the UK without restriction
