Located in the Green Belt and AONB, the project includes two single-storey rear extensions approved under a Lawful Development Certificate, demolition and reconstruction of the existing porch, alterations to fenestration, new rooflights, internal reconfiguration and the addition of solar panels.

The clients approached us after spending nearly two years unsuccessfully navigating the planning process with another consultant. We secured approval on the first attempt by developing a scheme that delivered a clear reduction in massing, volume and footprint, whilst providing our clients with the space they need.

Full-height glazing and bi-folding doors open the house up to gorgeous countryside views, while rooflights flood hallway spaces with natural light. A new detached garden room and home office completes the scheme, in the same style and materials as the main house.
