Our client appointed us to extend and modernise a basic 1970’s building to meet the needs of his family. The brief included extending to the rear of the property at ground floor level to create an open plan kitchen, informal dining, and family space facing the garden.

A new central gable with inset, feature windows, Juliet balcony at first floor level, and a ‘pavilion’ style wrap around extension provide a contemporary addition to the main house. The feature elements of the property have been finished with standing seam zinc cladding, cedar cladding and sleek, elegant detailing such as the full height windows and outdoor lighting.

The property also benefits from a utility/boot room, study, detached garage, and a gorgeous new outbuilding with workshop and Tiki bar nestled into the trees!

We were delighted to be shortlisted for ‘Best Architect or Designer for an Extension Project’ at the 2023 Build It Awards, for our work on this property.
