This project involves the full restoration of a Grade II Listed former RAF Officer’s Mess, its sensitive conversion into 28x new apartments, and the construction of two new residential buildings providing a further 27x apartments. The scheme also includes the restoration and extension of the former Gate Lodge to create a new standalone property.

A key element of the project was the transformation of the long-dilapidated ballroom into an attractive communal space, reinstating its role at the heart of the community.

Working closely with the client and council, we helped bring this historically significant World War II site back into use, delivering high-quality residential accommodation alongside carefully considered landscaping that respects the site’s heritage and setting.
